About us

Welcome to California Schnoodles & Sheepadoodles – home of the Giant Schnoodle and Sheepadoodle! We are thrilled that you are here!

We are a small hands-on breeder that has been breeding puppies for over ten years and are located 25 miles outside of Sacramento California. We started breeding puppies because we wanted to breed and raise puppies the way we would want a puppy bred and raised for us, with attention to temperament, health and socialization.
At California Schnoodles and Sheepadoodles, we take immense pride in making our top priority your new puppy’s care, health, and socialization by providing them with lots of love and room to play and explore during their critical imprinting period that happens their first 8 to 12 weeks. By raising them in an environment that supports every aspect of their well-being, we ensure that your new pup will have the best possible start and easiest transition into their new home!
You may have stumbled upon our website while searching for other non-shedding and hypoallergenic dog breeds such as Labradoodles or Goldendoodles, and we are glad that you did! We understand that it can be overwhelming to decide which pup will be the best addition to your family, and while we cannot speak specifically to these breeds, we can share that there are often concerns with the consistency of their health, temperament, and conformity. That being said, you can rest assured knowing that both Schnoodles and Sheepadoodles are known for being good-natured and very trainable, not only that, our puppies are always hypoallergenic and non-shedding as both our mama and papa are AKC non-shedding breeds.
Our hope is that after you check out our website and learn more about Schnoodles and Sheepadoodles, you will be convinced that both of these breeds are wonderful additions for any person or growing family. Both Schnoodles and Sheepadoodles have a beautiful and soft wavy coat, but are also intelligent, easy to train, laid back, loyal, and protective. These breeds are also not aggressive, have a people pleaser personality, and are eminently trainable.
We are so glad that you found our website and found us! California Giant Schnoodles

Not to be confused with Miniature Schnoodles, the Giant Schnoodle is a rare breed that is achieved by combining a Giant Schnauzer with a Standard Poodle. This combination produces a highly intelligent, easily trained, loyal, calm and affectionate dog. The Giant Schnauzer is sometimes called “the dog with the human brain” as their problem solving ability is amazing. The females usually mature at about 65 to 75 pounds and the male Giant Schnoodle’s at 75 – 85 pounds.

Schnoodles are very smart, laid back dogs that do well when left to themselves but thrive with daily interaction with their family. They have hybrid vigor which makes them healthy and they aren’t nervous or high-strung like some breeds can be.

California Sheepadoodles

The Sheepadoodle is achieved by combining an Old English Sheepdog with a Standard Poodle. They mature at about 60 to 80 pound range. They are black and white and non-shedding with a beautiful soft wavy coat.

Like Schnoodles, Sheepadoodles too are very easy to train and have a calm termperament. They are playful, intellegent, and loving dogs who have the stamina to be enjoy a variety of activities, while also perfectly happy to lounge all day!
